Meet Karen
Karen joined Bain Wealth Management in 1996 as a Financial Planner, after receiving her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University. Although, Karen stepped back from full time work while raising their two daughters, she always remained involved in steering the company through its many changes. Combining her experience and her business skill, Karen is now the Operations Manager in charge of Human Resources and Bookkeeping.
“Let all that you do, be done in love,” (1 Corinthians 16:14) is Karen’s motto for life and it is obvious in the caring and loving heart she has for clients and staff.
Family is Karen’s greatest passion, but her commitment to serving others extends far beyond her own home. She spearheads Bain Wealth Management’s charitable initiatives, helping coordinate and support the many community organizations that the firm partners with throughout the year. Whether through her church, mission trips, or local nonprofits across the Salem area, Karen is dedicated to making a meaningful impact and encouraging others to do the same.
With their daughters Kayla and Kimberly grown and married, she and Mark are embracing the empty-nester season—making time for travel, hiking, and time with loved ones. Their greatest joy these days is watching their family grow as they welcome an ever-increasing number of grandchildren.
