Meet Kayla
Kayla Oliver, CFP® is a Wealth Advisor based in Salem, Oregon. After working with Bain Wealth Management throughout her college years, she joined the team full-time in 2020 and has grown into a financial advisor for individuals and families navigating life’s most important financial decisions. She is passionate about helping investors who have often been overlooked by the financial industry—particularly women and younger professionals. Her goal is to create a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to take control of their finances, build healthy financial habits, and gain confidence in their future.
As major life transitions arise—including marriage, growing a family, career changes, retirement opportunities, navigating an inheritance, and charitable giving – Kayla enjoys helping clients understand the financial implications of their decisions and develop strategies that align with their values and goals. One of her favorite parts of financial planning is helping clients gain confidence and peace of mind so they can focus on what matters most: their family, faith, goals, and community.
A champion for financial education and community engagement, Kayla co-founded Women’s Wealth & Wisdom with fellow Wealth Advisor Denise Talbert in 2021. Through monthly gatherings, female clients come together to learn from one another, discuss money in a meaningful and relevant way, and draw upon the collective wisdom within the group. Together, Kayla and Denise also host GROW (Giving & Receiving Our Wisdom and Wealth), an annual event that empowers women in the community through educational workshops and conversations around important financial planning topics.
An innovator at heart, Kayla enjoys finding ways to streamline processes and leverage technology to better serve clients. Her calm, positive demeanor helps clients feel at ease, even during times of uncertainty, while her ability to think creatively and adapt allows her to advocate for clients in an ever-changing financial landscape. Kayla was recently recognized as a recipient of Carson’s Women in Wealth Management “Up-and-Comer” Award, honoring emerging female leaders in the profession. Her CFP® certification reflects her commitment to providing comprehensive, fiduciary advice tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
Becoming a mom has deepened Kayla’s perspective on financial planning and strengthened her ability to relate to the families she serves. Like many of her clients, she understands the balancing act of raising children, planning for the future, and making the most of the time you’ve been given. She and her husband, Jared, are navigating many of the same milestones as the families they serve. Outside the office, they enjoy spending time with their growing family, gardening, baking sourdough bread, camping, and exploring the outdoors. They are active members of their church community, where Kayla serves on the worship team.
